Viconia ToB Romance - Possible Bug?

So, I was romancing Viconia since SoA into the ToB, and everything seemed fine so far. At Watcher's Keep, she initiates the "What is it, jaluk?" dialog. At this point, her "ExpLoveTalk" variable is 7. As it is well known, this "ExpLoveTalk" variable increases by 2 after every romance dialog. But after this particular conversation, she initiated the same dialog once again after a few minutes. I checked the "ExpLoveTalk" variable, and interestingly it has been only increased by 1 after that dialog, to 8, in contrast to previous ones. And it seems that initiated the infamous looping romance dialog sequences. My question is, should I explicitly set "ExpLoveTalk" to 9 via the console? Or is it OK to left it at 8 with the possible repeating dialog (that dialog also increases ViconiaChange, alignment change variable as well), until the next romance dialog fires off? So strange that this bug is lying around after all these years.

Yes, I have save files just before the lovetalk. I loaded from those a few times but still, this particular dialog always increases ExpLoveTalk only by 1.
