Black screen when I press play

I've looked over some of the comments, there's a lot of help on black screens with smaller white screen, and full white screen when pressing play. But none on a full black screen, with sound enabled and cursor visible. I tried some of the tips; Alt-Enter, running as administrator, none of them seem to work. Anyone have the same problem as me, some advise would be incredibly helpful.

My PC specs:
Intel Core i5 CPU, 3.20 GHz dual core
8.00 GB Ram
64-bit Operating System
Nvidia GeForce GT 220
