Persistent Worlds Newbie

Hello, I am looking to get into NWN:EE Persistent Worlds and wondering if there is a "setup guide" step by step to do this? or is each world a different setup? If that the case how can you decide if that world/game will be a good fit for you? and or where do you find these worlds?
