Sound Glitches/Corruptions

Current Behaviour - When playing the game the sound makes odd popping, crackling and whistling noises constantly. Ambient sounds will loop back and are distorted and strange. Character voice acting is cut off or the wrong lines are read contrary to what is being read on the screen. This happens both on the menu screens and in the game itself.

Expected Behaviour - normal sounds with no issues.

    This accurately describes the issues that I'm having with the sound. It's constant, and very obvious that something is wrong. Did you fix your issue?

    I'm using an Auzentech Prelude card, which used the Sound Blaster X-Fi chip. Are you using a similar card?
