Cromwell's Forge Issue on Switch

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I am playing on the Nintendo Switch and I have all the items needed for Cromwell's Forge. I created the Crom Faeyr and I want to create more. But once I do it, the game starts to glitch and I can't use the trigger buttons anymore. I can't save and it tells me the game is in dialogue mode when I clearly am not. If I keep playing thru one of my characters doesn't move anymore. It has something to do with resting. I am getting weird issues when resting outside or at an Inn. This is in Chapter 6. Anyone have these issues?
