Gerold and Louisa Playthrough

I'm keeping it shorter this time. But still having a ton of fun with this illustrated format. Check out the write up at the Beamdog forums or at davesgaming.

I am using a fair number of mods, first and foremost "NPC Project". I know not everyone is a fan of this one, but I think it adds a lot of life and fun to the game.
Also BG Quests and Encounters, adds a lot of little mini adventures. Many are of the "blink and you'll miss them variety". But again, it adds variety and a lot of little details to a game many of us know all too well.
And BG Unfinished Business, that restores/recreates some content that was cut from the original game, but still exists from some tantalizing artifact code left in the game. As a gamer I'd say its the same sort thing as the other two. Small extras that add life and depth to an all too familiar game.
By far the biggest Mod I'm using is Acifer's outstanding "Loretakers". It puts an all new two level dungeon and adventure into the City of Baldur's Gate. It is seriously fun and well crafted.
I also have a few other things going like the big CDTweaks mod, SCS, Deities of Faerun, Voices, and a few others.
I love how this game keeps growing and providing surprises thanks to a very engaged modding community.
