Resurrection Gorge bug?

I am in the process of doing this section of Dorn's quest line. I have gotten Yarrow's acorns, and have found the Great Tree, but there is nothing there. No sign of the Great Fil, or that demon, or any summoning circles; just a totlly blank landscape. Is there some sort of hidden entrance to the interior of the Tree? Because I have been poking around there for 15 minutes and have found zilch. What am I missing?

    I just watched a video of a walkthrough of this scenario. In my game, Dorn killed Yarrow and grabbed his acorns, but no dryad appeared to open the way to the gorge for us. I guess I will have to go through the entire thing again and see exactly where my game is diverging from what is supposed to happen.
    Or ... am I supposed to do something with the acorns to open up the path? I put then in a gear slot and clicked on them, but nothing happened.

    Yarrow is the dryad who can send you down there.

    So, if you choose violence and kill her instead, you have to activate the acorn yourself to go down and back up. It goes in a quickslot. (Activating it sets a variable, and then the area script moves you.)

    I was doing exactly that, with no results. Apparently I was doing it wrong. I was left clicking on the acorns; then after a while I got desperate, and tried right clcking on them. This usually just gives you a description of the item. Which is what it showed me .... and then the portal opened up. Doh! Also, it has to be done at the spot where Yarrow died. Doing it while at the Tree does nothing either. How odd.

    Checking things out further, maybe it's a technical issue. Sometimes the acorns work with one direct click, sometimes not. A problem with my mouse, maybe? A minor issue, as long as the job gets done.
