Creating fan RPG's similar to Infinity-based stuff

Hi to every fans of good RPGs. I always liked to write, create plots, characters, scenes, stories. I was a DM in DnD parties many times, so when i finally played Baldur's Gate in 1998, this was miracle. I got to know that there is GemRB - free implementation of Infinity engine (this engine was used in Baldur's Gate 1-2, Icewind Dale 1-2, Planescape. Torment). In my opinion, these games are very good, but even they did not opened all the potential of gameplay in this engine.
If some independent guy or guys have a plan - to create old-school-like RPG based on GemRB, i would like to write at least small piece of your project. Just for free and for interest. Also i love Fallout 1-2, Arcanum, Gothic 1-2 and all the good old RPG's. I know also that there is Falltergeist - free implementation of Fallout 2 engine. If someone have similar interests - let's try tooling something together...
I already tried to write a plot for one independent project (this should be an Arcanum-like open world indie RPG, but creators cancelled project. Here is my unfinished draft - thbis should be a fan sequel of australian 1990's series "Spellbinder" https://archiveofourown.org/works/56140225/chapters/142606483

Maybe, here on forums also will some programmer guy, some 3D-modelling guy, some environment maker guy etc. How i see this - it's like about making some mod, but with completely new plot. Perfect example - game Archolos: in fact, it's not just a mod to Gothic 2, it's already new game!
