Lassal's traps

.....Well, this is a bit of a conundrum. Lassal's room is full of traps that can neither be detected nor disarmed. Now, this isn't the first time I have seen this happen; it happened also in the Trap room during the Shroud of the Unproven quest. The best thing I could think of to do there was to haste the party, and then run through the room as fast as possible. We would then heal up when we reached the other side.
.....The problem is, that in the shroud trap room, there was no enemy lurking. Here, Lassal is also present, and may well decide to interfere with our healing process. I figure I will send a bunch of skeletal warriors to pester her ... they are unlikely to seriously injure her, but might distract her and draw her aggro ... then run in as fast as posible and hope to get past the traps intact enough to defeat her in combat.
.....This seems like a pretty sketchy paln, overall. Anyone have any better suggestions?

I usually send one guy alone with Azure edge.
    Also, Lassal is a guy.

.....Heh, I didn't interact with Lassal long enough to check his/her gender. Also, the only person in my crew with decent proficiency with axes is Korgan, and he cannot wield Azure Edge. I do understand the concept. Get someone with a heavy duty ranged weapon, and missile him until he mists away. That way the chosen one can stop moving through the traps, and maybe even pop a healing potion or two. We could send Dorn with that Fire crossbow you can buy at Watcher's Keep perhaps? He is immune to level drain, and also has gear preventing him from being charmed, among other things.
.....Also, we can station the rest of the crew at the point where the trap damage starts, ready to support Dorn if Lassal decides to close in for melee. If he does any such thing, we have weapons like Foebane and Daystar. I do hope Lassal doesn't have that annoying reflection spell.

Ah, I found out something interesting. If we hug the walls, we can circle around the outer perimeter of the room, where apparently there are far fewer traps, while sending some sleletal warriors (who seemingly do not set off the traps) directly across the room to engage Lassal directly as a distraction. This let us take Lassal down fairly fast, with almost no injuries to us. I mean, we did take some injuries from the spikes, but not nearly as badly as we would have by charging straight across the room. Lassal himself stood zero chance, and barely had a chance to move.

I also just send in a single warrior; someone with Negative Plane Protection (Amulet of Power from the Shadow Thieves is excellent for this) and haste. Jaheira is an excellent choice if she can cast Iron Skins on herself.
Run in, kill Lassal, run out. easy!
