in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Is this a physical thing that is supposed to appear in my inventory? Because I don't see it. I staked Bodhi and still even have her black heart, but I don't see the Lanthorn anywhere. I went back to her coffin and looked around but I don't see anything. I am stumped here. Please help.

    Yes it is a physical item. It would be back in Bodhi's coffin, in the boat. The same place you staked her and recovered her black heart.

    OK hang on, I'm trying to remember now. Didn't the thing vanish when I left the Underdark and talked to the folks at the exit?
    That Elhan fellow?

    I keep bouncing back and forth betweem Small Teeth pass and the Forest of Tethir.

    Well, that was confusing. Apparently I had to go back to the Underdark exit, and talk to Elhan yet again. At which point he grabbed the lanthorn and teleported us to the right location. So now we are finally in Chapter 7. But seriously, it could have been made a bit clearer what I needed to do. Mind you, it is possible that this may have been mentioned the first time I encountered Elhan, at the Underdark exit, and I simply forgot. I had a bunch of things I wanted to do before going on to Chapter 7, since after that I can't go back to Athkatla again. The Eyeless Cult quest, the final confrontation with the Harpers, grabbing the last cash income from the Playhouse, doing some last minute shopping in Adventure Mart ... that sort of thing. But that was literally weeks ago in RL, and I apparently totally forgot about needing to report back to him. But, as the saying goes ... all's well that ends well. o:)
