Now the real question is...How'd that Il'Khan guy get to be one?
Then again...how did Aerie become a Mage/cleric (illegal combo for an elf)?
and how did Anomen dual-class at all? (GROSSLY illegal stats, even after his boosts, he's still illegal)?...
Minsc at least has a backstory reason for his much lower then minimum wisdom, since it happened after he was a ranger.
Kagain could've acquired a con manual at some point so that's no biggy
...and would excuse Coran's dex...EXCEPT he has *** in bows which is illegal for a multi-class with no discussed reason for it.
Haer'daelis got his extra * from his doomguard training (though under certain circumstance a Bard imported from classic BG1 into BG2 and changed to a Blade COULD specialize in sword type weapons.. but only during creation and it didn't always happen...).
@ZanathKariashi: Aerie is actually not an illegal multi-class for her race. Moon elves (or whatever the base elf race is in Forgotten Realms) cannot, but the Avariel can.

Class: Paladin
Kit: Blackguard
Then roll stats =3

But, yeah, NPCs breaking the rules is hardly new.
