Mod recommendations?

Hi,
I'm unsure if this is the right place to ask, but I'd like some mod recommendations. I feel like playing BG2 again after ~10 years, and I already did a bunch of playthroughs, including a lot of modded ones (all non EE, but going to use EE now). The last few games were all in the same manner, playing a solo F/M/C (imported from BG1) with removed exp cap and a bunch of difficulty mods, as well as some quest mods and item mods (example WeiDU.log attached, but I wouldn't install the party member mods again). I'd like to do another run of something like that, but I'd like to try some of the newer mods. So I'd be really happy if someone could give some mod recommendations.
Edit: I noticed that one of the easiest and best ways to help me was if someone with similar interests would just post their WeiDU.log.
Here are some more specific questions:
1. Solved
2. Obsolote, I've settled on using Tactics Remix without SCS.
3. Any other nice (and generally compatible) quest mods you can recommend? I'm especially interested in ones that don't require me to use companions for an extended amount of time. I don't mind some power creep, but it shouldn't be completely over the top (most equipment is pretty much already fixed anyway). Some interesting ones from checking the Quest Mod Impressions thread:
Tower of Deception, Spellhold Gauntlet, Assassinations, Tales of Anegh, Tales of the Deep Gardens, Innershade, Fishing for Trouble, The White Queen, I Shall Never Forget, The Sellswords, Back to Brynnlaw, Reunion, Southern Edge, Ooze's Lounge, Test Your Mettle!, Trials of the Luremaster for BG2:EE, Tangled Oak Isle, "Heroes, Thieves and Moneylenders", Bridge’s Block, Alabaster Sands, The Journey to the Whin Hill, Dark Tidings, The Bloodied Stings of Barovia, Eilistraee's Song, In Love Undeath, Call of the Lost Goddess
Do any of these stand out, in a positive or negative way?
4. Is there some thread listing the current best practices for mod install order? --> Solved
Anyway, I hope I'm not asking for too much, I'd already be happy to get partial answers to any of my questions.

1. Solved
I would really like to use the following mods, are there major problems with these that come to mind (no need to mention incompatibilities that are already listed in the readme)? Ascension, Crucible, some combination of Tactics Remix and SCS (most non-overlapping additional and improved encounters from both, general AI from one of them), some components of Tweaks Anthology (is this still the go-to tweaks mod?), EEex. Additionally I'd like to use G3 Anniversary quest, maybe Unfinished Business, Spells and Abilities (Morpheus), Enhanced Powergaming Scripts (Morpheus), Forgotten Armament (Morpheus), Item Upgrade.
2. Obsolote, I've settled on using Tactics Remix without SCS.
Previously I settled on using the AI components of SCS over the ones from (non remix) Tactics the last few times after trying both mods. Because SCS really nicely raised the difficulty without feeling like it completely cheats. Eventually I even ended up skipping most of the tactics revised encounters, because while interesting, they just didn't feel as well-designed and well-implemented as the SCS stuff (partially just because they were older). How does Tactics Remix compare to original Tactics and to SCS? It says the AI scripts are rewritten, but what is the philosophy behind it, and how well is the redesign actually done? Is it difficulty at any cost, or more about optimally using things that are also available to the player like SCS? Are there tons of weird special abilities coming out of nothing, or do the enemies feel consistent? I didn't really like the enemy instant buffing in Tactics and preferred the SCS way of solving it with contingencies and triggers, where does Tactics Remix stand in this? There is also a bunch of overlap in spell tweaks etc., which should I use when it's available both from SCS and Tactics Remix?
