TotL solo strategy assistance
I took a break, now I’m back. I still have a solo Cleric/Illusionist HoF run to finish. It’s a strange thing with solos that some encounters are far easier than with a party, while others are far harder. I would like assistance with a hard one.
So I found out/rediscovered the hard way that glabrezu backed by summoners are difficult. My usual party strategy is to smash glabrezu down in melee, take out the summoners, and heal up. That’s not working with summons in place of PC warriors. Spells are tricky what with glabrezu magic resistance and elemental immunities (100% to fire and acid, my go-to damage dealers). What are your recommendations here for effective tactics to kill the summoners and not die?

In both runs my fighter killed first both summoners. It was almost easy in the latest run with Dwarven Defender having (virtually) 100% physical resistance. 😎

Try to eliminate first all creatures except for Glabrezus and summoners. When you rest, all already summoned Glabrezus disappear. So, you will start the new fight with 2 summoners and 1 or 2 freshly summoned Glabrezus. It should be doable! 😎
Oh goodness! I thought they’d just summon forever and I’d be facing wall to wall glabrezu if I rested. I was going to try to kill the summoners in the first go. If the summoned glabrezu go away, that’s far more doable. Thanks!
