in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Is it true that Imoen can be a slayer, i am in TOB ( watchers keep) at the moment and am getting hints that this might happen, what a waste, Imoens stength is only 9 , would it not have been better if another fighter had this as a option?

    Not without mods, unfortunately.
    She was supposed to transform into the Slayer (and die) during original development. But that idea was abandoned at the last moment. That's why in the original release, she was one of the quietest characters, since writing dialog for her had just not been on the table (why bother if wasn't going to live).
    There are a few mods that touch on that original idea, and not in a way that kills her.
    Ascension and Imoen Romance come to mind. They are not wholly compatible with each other, so you would have to choose one. Both of them bring more than just a Slayer Imoen to the table.

    Slayer form set STR to 25, so it's particularly useful for a low STR character.

    But not for a non-fighter mage. I dont see a lots of situations where it would be useful. Mage is best for casting spells, behind the rows.

    Even for a mage, it can be nice to have a melee option. Some foes are highly resistant to magic, and 4 or 5 APR with 25 STR is certain to do nice damage.

    Stalker13 dualed to cleric with «ranger priest spell» set to 0 in baldur.lua is good for this:
    Haste
    Minor spell turning(prevents dispell)
    Armor of faith (25@ res including physical)
    Offhanding that mace with 25% physical res.
    Some leather armor with resists or evil flesh
    Amulet of power or simular
    Cloak of deflection(precast improved hadte from other cloak).
    Green scrolls if you like.
    Potions of heroism/power.
    Some more druid/cleric protection spells(double layer dispell/breach preventing).
    Stone skin
    Belt of interial barrier

    Slayer form adds tons of immunites, resists, high fpa and +4 wepon with to interupt spells.

    A single pot with 50% magic reduce and belt mitigate the slayer magical damage, due to immunity.

    Its one of the ways to win in some durlag mace sitations as shaman etc… basicly make urself immune to damage and fight demons as demon.
