Camera edge panning lag while holding TAB key

Hello,

As the title says, whenever I hold TAB key to highlight interactive objects and try to move the camera with my mouse at the same time, the camera will move, but with a lag/delay of like two seconds because of the TAB key.
It gets pretty annoying, as when you make several attempts of moving the camera with the TAB key pressed, the game will be recreating all those attempts with the delay, resulting in the camera moving "by itself" for like 10 seconds.

Is the any fix to this?

Does it still lag if instead of using the tab key you just activate the permanent highlight interactive objects with the UI button ?

Thanks for the reply. It's weird, but I encountered that issue a few days ago, and it lasted a few days. I booted the game just now to try your solution and the issue is gone altogether without trying the permanent highlight option. The TAB key does no longer cause cam edge panning lag.

So, thanks for providing a possible solution, but it all works as intended now.
