i cant mod my game on Android 16

Hi guys,
I got a Samsung Fold 7 running running Android 16.
I bought the game thinking I could still install some mods as I have seen some post detailing how to just that on Android here. However, /Android/data/com.beamdog.pstee/files is read-only, so we cannot paste files directly there or even view contents of this folder. But I can browse and make changes on on any other game folders under , /Android/data/.
I also tried modding directly in by unzipping main.566.com.beamdog.pstee.obb and compressiong it again, however if this file is modified in any way the game redownlaods it so that is blocked too.
Beamdog: WTF guys is this how you are caring of your customers? Locking up a 25 year old game thats meant to be moddable? What do you gain by doing that?. And the fix is so simple just relax the permissions and let us mod!
