Can't import save to BG2EE

Yep, as it says.
I play on PC Game Pass, and no matter what I do, there are zero saves to import from when I start BG2EE. I click "import" and the section is completely and utterly blank-
I've completed BGEE + SoD with the same character. I've got loads of saves to pick from. I should have, at least.
I've tried copying saves to and fro in the folders, trying various combinations to get it to find the saves. No luck. As I understand it, this should be automated as I didn't change the original folder structure.
I've restarted the game, restarted the Xbox app on the PC. No change.
Generally I've had a ton of problems with saves on PC Game Pass, progress being lost, areas resetting (in BGEE, no issues found in SoD) and so forth. So I think there's some serious underlying issues regarding how the Xbox app and it's cloudsaves work with the BGEE games on PC Game Pass.
Have anyone been able to import a game to BG2 *on XBOX PC GAME PASS* at all?
I know it works fine on OTHER setups, I've done it on Steam several times with zero issues.
At this point, however, I have no way of continuing my character into BG2 which absolutely, completely sucks. I want my xp and my golden pantaloons, damnit.
