Modding IWDEE

Sorry for this noob question but I need a quick "point in the right direction" type of thing.
As I mentioned in my Welcome introduction post I played and modded, some, for the original IWD and HoW games 20+ years ago. I found all those old .bams, .wavs, portraits, .itm files, etc. on a backed up DVD-RW disk I made during that time and always saved. I want to start up again and have already started adding the portraits I have. the sound sets I made aren't working because the sound naming convention is different for this EE version than the originals. Also I believe original IWD allowed batches of character sounds be stored in an individual folder and played in the games Override folder this way just fine. I cannot find the batch of "included with EE" character sounds to compare and rename mine to. Where are these stored? or can someone direct my thread, and myself, to the correct posting category to communicate in?
Thanks

Thank you for the info. I'll check that site out soon but I really want to get the custom sounds I made years ago, working in this game now. I cannot put them in the correct folder location because that has changed. The sound file naming labels have also changed. Here is the original, out-of-the-box Icewind Dale readme.txt on using custom sounds for your game...

"The following is a list of the WAV files required to create custom sound
personality sets. In the 'Sounds' folder located in the directory in which
Icewind Dale is installed in, you will need to create a subdirectory that is
used to store your new character personality. The new folder can be up to 32
characters in length. This folder will be displayed in the game as one
of the voice set options. Below is a listing of all the required voice sounds
that are needed in that new subdirectory. Replace the xxxxx with a unique name
that would not be used in other subdirectories. For example, mysnd01,
mysnd02, etc. As long as the xxxxx is unique, the voice sounds will show up
and work properly in Icewind Dale.

All of the sound files must be 22 kHz, 16-bit, mono WAV files.
