Rasaad's Cloud Peak Quest? How To Trigger It?

I'm level 5 now, on Day 45, and have had Rasaad almost from level 2 onwards; we've chatted about his time as a monk and his brother's history with him, but so far there's been NO mention about going to the Cloud Peaks or anything beyond a bit of idle chatting. I've also got Dorn and Neera, and they've been pretty active about wanting me to help them with their quests. But Rasaad is just... boring. He hasn't asked me to do anything at all. I am seriously considering ditching him soon, but I really wanted to see the new quest area he brings. I've even tried adventuring where the Dryad is at the Cloud Peaks waterfall, but nothing has triggered.

Has ANYONE gotten Rasaad to open up and trigger his personal quests at all?

Go to the docks in Baldurs Gate and it should trigger

Noting triggers even when I completely (as much as possible) open the dock map.

Hmm, I would be interested in knowing about this, too. I am using Rasaad now that I can SK him into a cleric.

Alright after having my rep at heroic and going to the dock at night the quest triggered, I do not know how much the rep affects but I hope this helps people.

I had the Rasaad quest line trigger from visiting BG docks and finished the city part of the quest and accepted that we should go to Cloudpeak Mts. The area shows up on my map, but no matter what I do, I can't travel there. I have all the letters and have spoken to monk-dude about going.
So; my question is, are there anyone out there who have actually played through the Cloudpeak scenario yet? =D
Is there perhaps a level requirement? Or did I miss something somewhere? Any suggestions?

You get to there from one of the left areas of Nashkell Mines or from Nashkell Mines

I got there by exiting the Nashkell area to the south.

    @ohnoesnotagain
Travel from the south edge of the Nashkell Mines to get there...

Aha, from Nashkel mines! Thanks a lot. =D Sort of strange that it didn't work from any other location than from the south part of the Mines-map...

How about the part of the quest which takes place in the city ? I can't seem to find the people at the Seven Suns building. This was done during Scar's quest, so it's probably because of that. I would elaborate, but I wouldn't like to spoil it for anyone who hasn't done it.
So, during Scar's quest (is it the same building where you need to go during Rasaad's quest?), I went there and I only found the NPCs related to that quest, not Rasaad. I finished with that, then I went back, tried all sorts of things, like sleep and wait until the next night, but nothing. The building is empty now. Also, when I went back to the Inn where the NPC who shares the info with you is and he said something along the lines that he is grateful for me not killing him, and he says "I'll give you a key for this building" (which one? the Inn? it's confusing), but he does not give me anything at all. And then he just leaves.
Could anyone help me or has anyone else run into these problems ?

@pKlr I took the option of making the NPC at the Blade and Stars take me there immediately. When you do, he goes through the door southwest of the the normal Seven Suns entry but part of the same building (which I think may have been inaccessable in vanilla). Give that a try and see how it goes.

Hey @Corvino, thanks for the prompt reply. I found the guys! Thanks so much, I was beginning to give up on the quest.

Where exactly is that entrance? I have the same problem as PKIr. All i see is the seven suns entrance and next to this building there are two entrances for the general store which is adjacent to seven suns.

The Seven Suns is a large building. It has one entrance at the northeast corner and one at the southwest corner. The SW door leads to the correct place.

Actually, it's a separate building, the one you have to go into. There is a cluster of buildings a bit southwest from the marker on the map that says " Seven Suns ". It's one of those doors. I believe you have to pick the lock/force it, if you didn't choose for Sorrem to take you there immediately after talking with him.

You can safely do the quest with her in your party. I did. :D

Did you pick up the note he dropped?

@Jalily - I have a note that says to go find him, but he didn't drop any note - I went back to see if I missed it, but nothing is there.

Sorry to bump this, but I also have a problem regarding the flow of Rasaad's quest. I've fought the monks at the docks and picked up the note that tells of this Sorrem guy. When I go to the Blade and Stars however, he is not there. Is there a timer on his appearance? Or do I need to have another chat with Rasaad first?

    Edit: typo

    Hi All,
Sorry to drag this old topic out of the attic, but Rassad's quest isn't happening for me. It seems to have a lot of criteria to meet before it triggers. I am 36 days into the story. I have a reputation of 9. I have cleared out the Cloakwood mines and have access to Baldur's Gate city (though I'm currently in Naskel). I do not have Rassad in the party. I would like to recruit him to start his quest in the city. Can someone who knows please fill in the following blank criteria below to help understand exactly what is required:
To start Rassad's quest you need:
    A reputation of ___
To have Rassad with you for ___ days.
You need to go to the docks between ___ & ___ hours.

Regarding question 2: can I recruit Rassad, drop him, and pick him up again later to fulfil this criteria?

    Thanks
