Black Pits tier 2 match 9 (killable summoning portals) on Legacy of Bhaal difficulty

I'm having lots of trouble with this one. I'm starting to wonder if either my party or my strategies are just bad, or if the fight is just straight up impossible or atleast unreasonibly difficult on LOB. My party is the default party but leveled to max level, and I bought all the spells for casters on a Core Rules playthrough. My strategy is getting a Wand of Paralyzation off on the ogre mage right off the bat so I can focus on destroying the portals and I use a Wand of Monster Summoning along with my own summons, like Skeleton Warriors etc, to tank the enemies while going around with my Hasted party, killing all the portals ASAP but, by the final portal, I always get swamped by enemies despite my constant attemps at crowd control spells (which they just keep resisting or successfully saving against) and I just can't stay alive. If there are people here who have managed to beat this fight on LOB, I would greatly like to hear how you did it; what kind of party you had and what kind of strategies you used. Also any kind of tips, however minor, that could help me out would be very much appreciated.
