Game writing incompetence (Watcher's Keep, level 5, imp puzzles)
When solving the puzzles of the imp, which is located at Watcher's keep level 5, i've noticed some writing and logic errors.
Imp puzzle nr. 2 "11 coins" makes no sense. According to scripted walkthrough, the correct sequence is: so for this particular game, you should go first and take 2 coins, leaving 9 (X=2). The imp will take 1 coin, which means you should take 3, leaving 5 (X=1). The imp will take 3 coins, which means you should take 1, leaving only one coin (X=0). When the imp takes that coin, you'll win the game, which will earn each character in your party another 10,000 xp. If you have trouble with the game, you can repeat it as many times as you'd like, without any penalty.
Except there is ZERO LOGIC for the imp top take "1" coin on it's first turn from the left 9 coins! The imp could have won the game by taking "3" instead on it's first turn, leaving 6. Afterwards, no mater if you take "1" or "3" on your second turn, you loose since:
A. You take "1", leaving 5; imp takes "2", leaving 3, you are forced to use your remaining "3" to take 3.
B. You take "3", leaving 3; imp takes "2", leaving 1; you are forced to use your remaining "1" to take 1.
As a matter of fact, based on the all possible scenarios, if you start the draw first, YOU WILL ALWAYS lose!
Before we continue, i want to remind of the general rule written in the beginning of the game that you have three different coins with value "3", "2" and "1", meaning if you use coin with value "2" once to detach coins from the pool, you can not use it any more and are left with coins "3" and "1".
The correct way to win would be to let the imp start the game. Unfortunately this part is broken and badly written. It goes like this: imp starts and takes "2", leaving 9. You should always pick the highest number first in order to have the least in the end, so you take "3", leaving 6. The imp takes "1", leaving 5. You take "2", leaving 3. The imp even confirms that there are 3 coins left to take. The imp has got a coin with a value of "3" left, which means he must use it now to take the last remaining 3 coins from the pool and lose the game.
BUT A SIMPLE WRITING MISTKAKE OCCURS!
The imp says: "Just 3 coins remain. Obviously, i will take 2 of them".
WHAT THE FUCK?
The imp CAN NOT take "2" from the pool of 3, because he already used a coin with value "2" in the first turn (11 - 2)! Remember the rule! The imp should have lost the game by picking the last 3 coins with his remaining "3" value coin!
Disappointment... The authors of EE clearly messed up big time here.

Gee, users using "Artas" or similar variants are something else.
