Healing damages my characters?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Oof. What did I install?! Any ideas? I have a pretty heavily modded games anymore, including several features from CDTweaks and SCS. I tried to bring in a bunch of IWD spells, and I installed the SCS adjustment to increase power of spells.
Its strange, "rest until healed" is working, but I can't cast any healing spells (or Lay on Hands) and heal my party members. Well, it seems to damage for one point less than it heals. So I can heal one point with a spell.
A casual test looks like the same is going in for BG2, which suggests it was something I did on both builds. Is it known some tweak or feature is not working correctly? Or did I misunderstand and end up with the "Haha, healing hurts you" tweak?!

    This is just a shot in the dark, but (IIRC) Tweaks Anthology's "Improved Cure/Cause Wounds" had some issues in that regard.

    I’m planning on completely reinstalling everything today, so I’ll see how it works with that *not* installed.

    Definitely an unexpected sort of quirk.

    I had spent some time poking around trying to install and uninstall various things and I fear I made a mess of my build! So I completely rebuilt BG1 *without* the Improved Healing Spells, and that seems to have completely fixed the problem.
