Bugs please fix

I would like the mods to work under the enhanced edition instead of keep breaking my game. The potions a lot don't work, but you can sell(theres a learning curve here it sucks in combat when you need healing, and it doesnt work), others don't work and you cant sell them. Worse yet is with Baeloth when you dis over an identify bug where his identify spell disappears whete you cant use it. You should decide if Minsk is a dual welding mace fighter or a two handed swordsman so you don't waste profiency slots.

Another Baeloth bug with a sorceror giving a 19 intelligence doesnt do anything. Please put his 19 on a ability that he can use. Dexterity, constitution, charisma, or wisdom or strength.

A couple more things it would be nice to see Ulgaths Beard implemented into the story line like going to ulgaths beard. And if a NPC randomly charge at the enemy while shooting a missile weapon, then they should automatically switch to their melee weapon why does Kaegen or others insist running at an enemy firing a crossbow when he can use two axes instead.

Not sure with this, but i noticed that the game favors theifs and longswords. If you neither, you don't have a lot of money for equipment leaving candlekeep if your not a theif, and longswords favors a magical upgrade better than other weapons.

A lot of this sounds more like some things you may not understand about the game? For one, it is old. Some things, like inventory management, may just be more work than in more modern systems. I don’t know why some potions aren’t working for you, this is not a flaw I’ve ever seen.
But Minsc having two pips in two-weapon fighting is not a mistake, it’s a freebie that all rangers get. So those aren’t proficiencies you can use elsewhere, they are bonuses he simply wouldn’t have otherwise. And for the record, two-handed sword is the only weapon I ever have him use (and I’ll apply pips to “two handed weapon style” just as fast as I get them.
Not every point in every score has to be beneficial. That’s sort of the point of a role playing game. The characters are *people* who may have any number of strengths, weaknesses, quirks that affect how they deal with the adventure. The fun and adventure of it is seeing the world adventure through the eyes of the characters, even better when they have strengths or skills that don’t perfectly mesh with their build.
Ulgoth’s Beard was not a part of the original game. It was an expansion (Tales of the Sword Coast) released a year later. So it does have a sort of bolted on feel to it. When Beamdog did the Enhanced Editions they were legally *not allowed* to alter the original story line. Bugs were fixed, some cut content was restored, but Ulgoth’s Beard is just as it was for those of us who first played the game back in 1999.
Long Sword is just generally a better weapon than Short Sword. The reasons to choose short sword? Well strength is not a requirement for thief, it’s possible you can’t use a long sword, or you just don’t want to carry the extra weight. You may want to leave the long swords for the warriors in your party, they may be more effective with them. And of course, it’s another *role playing* thing. You may prefer the image of your thief as keeping things light and avoiding heavy gear. Personally I find non-optimized characters *way* more fun than playing the math of it all.
I’d also mention there is a +3 short sword available towards the end of BG1. Not for long sword.

A character having a statline you don't like is not a bug lol

I don't understand what you are saying about thieves and long swords but BG1 has a bunch of enemies that do drop basic +1 longswords. My theory is that since in original BG1 where long words, bastard swords and 2-handed swords were all under one category they put a bit more longswords around since they're usable by more classes than the other 2.
