Transferring save game files on android

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi all I'm sure it's been asked hundreds of times already, but I thought the latest patch would allow the hidden files to be accessible to transfer files from one phone to another, I can't seem to find out how to do it, I've already changed the saves to a different location on my old phone and sent them to my new phone to no avail. I've installed bg2 on my new phone and it has saves but from chapter 3? I'm currently on chapter 6! Any help would be appreciated
