New update import function still not working

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
S25 Ultra with Android 16. I have tried Shijuku, I have tried different file explorers... I just can't access the beam dog data files in the Android folders where I would put custom folders exported character files etc. I know that the new updates were supposed to fix this by exporting and importing save files through the internal storage documents folder, but for some reason I have been unable to export those onto my PC and put them back onto my phone.
