Kitted Multiclass with Shadowkeeper

Its been a loooooooooooooong time. I remember there used to be a workaround to get a single kit with your multiclass in Shadowkeeper. Anyone remember how to do this? Since I can't play my usual Druidic Sorcerer, I'm thinking of going Cleric/Wild Mage. But I can't seem to remember the trick. Anyone remember how to do this workaround?

    Once you have shadowkeeper working, just change from "true class" to "wild mage" under characteristics.
