Rescent patch actually broke my BG EE

Even though i was happily playing yesterday since the patch of 30-11-2012 my BG EE wont start anymore. (no matter what complatabilty mode)

Is anyone else having this problem?

If you have the standalone updater, click on the button resembling a map note and pick repair install.
This might fix it for you.

Where do I get this standalone updater? I still have this problem. I can't play the game.

if you want to load in full speed (P2P), you have to open the ports "56274" and "52138" at your router

I've managed to find a 100% fix in the meantime. BG now always works for me.
All i did was tick the DPI flag on my Baldur.exe (the one in the compatibility screen above run as admin)

That didn't work for me. I'm stuck in the splash screen, not on the game itself.
