Bug – weird bug in save game image
Current behaviour: here’s a picture of what I’ve found after starting BGEE to continue my playthrough: http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/8681/bgeesavebug.jpg
The „Menvin” save was the save I’ve made while quitting the game last time (or just before that and I didn’t save the game while quitting; a difference of several seconds of gameplay at most).
The „Test” save is a save made immediately after loading the „Menvin” save. The game seems to work just fine and it save without problems too.
Bonus question: what’s up with screenshot taking? I had to go all the way to installing additional software to capture a screenshot of the game… The standard method just shows the main super-menu…
Expected behaviour: saves that don’t give a heart attack by suggesting that they’re damaged. Also: not obscuring screenshots.

And i'm sure it will puzzle @ScottBrooks too
Even if you are in full-screen mode, BGEE will save any screenshots you make to:
C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\ScrnShot
Edited to add:
@Humanoid_Taifun: thanks
After alt-print, you can use ctrl-v in a graphics program, like microsoft paint.
I do this, because mspaint can save the image in png format, which is much smaller, and friendlier for forum attachments.
For standard screenshots I just use the Print Screen keyboard button. Those I paste into GIMP, where I compress them into JPG or PNG (depending on the quality I intend to achieve – f.e. the screenshot in this topis was meant as only reference material, thus I chose JPG) with a RIOT plugin.
However, this time the standard method produced not a screenshot of my game (+ my second display, but that I always cut out with no problems in editing), but of the super-menu (Tutorial/Black Pits/BG). Semi alt-tabbing out (more on that in a moment) + clicking back to the game allowed me however to produce a proper screenshot this time.
As for alt-tabbing, at the moment I’m more or less unable to perform this action: the game stubbornly stays on top. All that alt-tab does for me is to allow switching of focus, so I can move my mouse to my second screen. I prefer to keep my browser on my main display though, so in order to test something in the game and then go to the forum to write about the results, I have to close the whole game. Or move my browser to the second window, which I hate to do. :P I have’t posted this as a bug, cause I keep forgetting to check whether something like this has already been posted. :P
I never used the built-in screenshot feature, just alt-printscreen.
Anyway, tested simple printscreen now, and it works too both in windowed mode and full screen.

0:00 Game launcher started. (The background is an earlier screenshot attempt, disregard it.)
0:03 Super-menu started
0:07 Main Baldur"s Gate campaign loaded. What I see is the actual game. What is being captured on the video is different though. Screenshots behave the same.
0:12 I alt-tab away and then click back into the game. Screen and video capturing now will work as it should.
0:22 I capture a screen shot (and paste it off-screen) just to illustrate that it indeed does work now. Were it not for the alt-tab trick all I'd be able to get this way would be the super-menu, as seen earlier.
(Oh, and sorry for the mess on the desktop. ;p)
