[Request] Quest item recovery

Current behaviour:
It is possible to throw away a quest item and thus make a savegame unsolvable. This is generally not good for a game with a long total playing time like the Baldur's Gate trilogy.
But then, just having them reappear for free in some temple pool like in NWN is kinda lame.
Desired behaviour:
a) Quest items should never be deleted from a savegame, even if they are not stored in a container or shop.
Of course that means some "quest item" flag needs to be utilized.
b) I'd suggest to implement (on one of the new adventure maps) a dialogue-based investigator NPC - you can ask him about any main plot quest item (maybe even some other items beyond), and he will tell you what area it can be found in - for a price.
