game crashes + unclear fonts

in Windows PC (Archive)
I'm using windows 7 with Nvidia Gforce go 7300
on opening screen is a few lines of letter, when I start new game the characters names are not clear and then it crashes, anyone can help me please, thanks

    have the exact same problem (also with win 7 and gforce go 7300)

    be grateful that you can at least get it to start! you are doing better than most!

    fixed it, right click on desktop, then nvidia control panel, 3D settings, press the program tab (not global) and add the Baldur's.exe file and Turn "Threaded Optimization" OFF
