Dorn Quest Question! (spoilers!)

So I just killed Simmeon and his helpers.. I didn't get a journal update and Dorn said absolutely nothing.. I tried resting, leaving the zone, reloading.. Nothing..

Am I bugged? Or is this normal?

    Okay I reloaded, and did the fight again.. I killed everything but simmeon, then just pit Dorn up against Simmeon and let dorn do all the damage to him. gave him heals when needed, that seemed to fix it.. lol..

    had the same thing happen i used the talk icon to ''manualy'' talk to dorn and it worked

    I tried everything you've done and none of this is working for me ...

    Dorn refuse to talk to me after Simmeon's death... I've reload, let Dorn fight him and kill him, I've saved and reload after Simmeon's death and tried to talk manually to Dorn...

    It's just impossible for me to make him talk !

    I don't know what else to do except waiting for a patch :(

    More than 10th try (killing Simmeon first or last, quickly or slowly with Dorn only or the group...) change map and come back to speak with dorn manually...

    Nothing's changed :/

    Same issue here. I wonder if it is because the quest wasn't completed in the correct order (I spoke to Taris before Dorn told me to).

    I spoke to Taris as soon as I arrived in Nashkel, and the quest still triggered fine for me. I don't think that has anything to do with triggering Dorn's stuff.

    Just manually talk to Dorn with Charname.

    I had the same bug. I've killed Simmeon 8 times trying different methods with absolutely no reaction from Dorn. I finally fixed it by reloading a save prior to the battle and "refreshing" Dorn (kick him out and re-recruiting him at F.A.I.) . His conversation triggers just fine after that. ( No XP for killing Simmeon, though...) Hope this helps!
