Anyone else experiencing UI window/game screen issue when picking up ground items?

Whenever I have the left UI column unselected, the game screen jumps up and to the right a bit whenever I pick up ground items. Then, after I'm finished picking up items, it jumps back into my party's original position on the map. It's getting to be maddening with the screen jumping back and forth, over and over. My eyes can only take so much! Anyone else notice this and wish it were "fixed?" (This also happens sometimes when I have both the left and right UI columns selected and when I have neither selected).
