Mirianne's Husband Quest Not Shown as Completed

When I hand the scroll over to his wife, the quest does not show up as completed. Am I missing something or is it a bug? I'm a completion freak.

    This is the quest involving the letter dropped by the Ogrillon on the area right south of Beregost.

    I took the letter back to Mirianne, but her quest entry hasn't moved to "done quests".

    Problem:
    The quest you can pick up in Beregost, about Mirianne wanting news from her husband, gives you a new entry in the quest log of the journal. When you complete the quest, instead of completing the quest it writes you a journal entry instead, and the quest remains unfinished in your quest log.

    Solution:
    The quest Mirianne's Husband should be moved from the "quests"-section of the journal, to the "done quests"-section upon completion, instead of giving us a new entry in the "journal"-section.

    In the quest book, the quest does not appear completed even though the scroll was handed to her.

    I confirm this bug. In fact the solved quest entry appears wrongly in the journal section.

    Many quests don,t update correctly got about 5 now and i am in chapter 4

    That's odd...its still not showing up as complete. Did the update only affect games that were made AFTER the patching or did it affect games that were made before the patch as well?

    I want to know this too so I know I can continue playing knowing it will be fixed in the future. At the moment, I am sitting next to Dynaheir(rescue) because her quest completion is bugged too.

    (Current behavior)
    The quest doesn't move to Done Quests after giving Mirianne the letter from her husband, even though it claims the journal has been updated.

    (Expected behavior)
    The quest Mirianne's Husband moves to Done Quests when completed.

    Sorry, I did a search for Mirianne and got only two results. Is the search faulty? Because Mirianne is definitely in that post that you linked but it doesn't show up on a search.

    I found the letter first, than spoke to Mirianne. The Journal entry remained opened saying the party will keep an eye out for info on Roe (the husband) even when the letter is given to Mirianne.

    After completing the quest in south Beregost bringing the letter to Mirianne, the note in the quest diary remains although the accomplishment.

    The bug still exists (12.01.2011). v1.0.2011

    Edit: Making another character the leader and turning it in worked for me, the quest moved from Quests to Done quests as it`s supposed to.

    Just putting it out there. The patch notes were not explicit into what journal bugs were fixed.
    So if you thought you fixed Mirianne's Journal Bug, it wasn't fixed.

    And fixed, this quest didn't clear when the PC had a very high charisma.
    I guess the intention with separating the 2 cases was to give the ring only to the high charisma people.
    But this later was removed.

    Hi, I encountered this bug(?) in Chapter 1 which involved the journal with regards to Mirianne's letter. I completed the quest and gave her the letter but the journal entry did not update into a completed quest.
