Announced BG2:EE?

Did someone say it was announced and they were going to make it and release it next year? Like, is this true because I don't see how they could improve upon it like they did with BG1...

    It's true. They're keeping the same engine they revamped for BG1:EE and making additional improvements (which will hopefully be rolled back into the BG1:EE engine to make it even better).
