I managed to get BGEE working with work arounds. Then i heard that a patch was released, so i left the game, installed the patch.

And now NOTHING. It crashes EVERY time. Ive deleted and re installed 3 times, ive tried all the compatibility attempted fixs. And still nothing. COME ON GUYS, REALLY?

    @karrick Have you emailed your crash dump (mydocs\BG - EE\crash\) to the address listed in the readme? What video driver version are you using, what graphics options are currently forced in the driver control panel, what audio card and driver version are you using, what language is your system and BG:EE game running in? Is the game installed in the program files folder? do you have user or admin rights? have you tried disabling UAC? Does your computer have any history of hardware instability (overheating, random reboots / blue screens, etc)? Have you looked at this thread: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/8291/priority-bug-crash-on-game-start/p1 and checked that your computer has the Visual Studio 2008 package installed? Do you have a multi-GPU setup, including integrated (chipset) graphics along with your discrete gtx 670?

    1.) Yes emailed
    2.) The latest nvidia drivers
    3.) on board audio msi
    4.) English
    5.) Program files x86
    6.) Admin rights
    7.) dont use UAC
    8.) No. i have a brand new top of the range pc, with an ivy bridge mobo and ssd.
    9.) it does.
    10.) done everything in the thread.
    11.) and no, single card and the game is trying to use it.

    The game was working PRE patch?! And now it isnt!
