Cure disease?

Hi guys, newb question - I've just started playing, so I was south of Beregost when a Ghast inflicted disease upon one of my party.

I ventured north and east to the Temple of Lathander, but I can't seem to work out if/how they can cure it.

The only other temple I know of is in Candlekeep, and I don't have any Clerics/Mages in my party at present.

Tips? The Google comes up short on this one.

Resting off through the disease helps. 8 hours should be sufficient actually.

The disease in BG is much different than the one in Icewind Dale (which is till death I believe) - the one from Ghasts doesn't hurt you at all (as far as I know), the one from the Wraith Spider is like a punch in the face which screams 10-20 damage per two rounds I guess, but lasts one or two turns at best.

So basically yeah - either rest or travel around, the disease should be in theory gone.
Other than that, cleric level 3 spell Cure Disease obviously

Eh~ I think that one wears off on its own. Try resting.

Ah - it just wore off on its own! No need to rest per-se, just a time thing,

I reloaded my game and confirmed - it affects THAC0 (+2 penalty).
