Sleep in tavern bug (game freeze)

Don't know if this bug has already been reported. We are playing in multiplayer with Windows 7 and Vista, my copy started working only after the latest patch. The game runs fine so far (we are just at the beginning), unfortunately everytime we try to sleep in a tavern ( we tried many, same bug) the game freezes for everybody and we have to restart the game, forcing us to sleep only in open areas.

    Me and a friend had the exact same issue :( though we're both in win7

    I'm having this same issue. Hubs is on Win 8, I'm on Win 7. Any tavern we sleep in causes the freeze. It's been a game ender for us since it happens so frequently and we need to leave towns in order to rest, which isn't always convenient to do.

    Basically, it's an issue with missing video files. In the game folder: "Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\Data\00766\movies" Copy the rest.wbm file twice. Rename one to restdung.wbm and the other to restinn.wbm. Once you have the three rest videos in the movies directory, all should be well.
