Rollback for patch?

Is there a rollback for the patch? The newest patch trashed my game so I can no longer start Baldur.exe - originally after a bit of fiddling, I was able to run the game at implementation but since yesterday (just after I downloaded the patch), my game no longer starts regardless of which compatibility mode I choose.
Using Windows Vista (SP1) and administrator mode worked up until the patch.

Help!

My computer specs:
i7-2600 CPU@3.4GHz
12 GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
AMD Radeon HD6950

    OK, I was able to get the game working again but had to set the 'Disable desktop composition' flag to true. This is in addition to using 'Run this program as Administrator' and using compatibility mode = Windows Vista (SP1). I guess what ever was in the patch no longer likes Windows 7 default color scheme.
    Strange behavior but at least I'm back on the Sword Coast again!

    Additional info: I found that trying to open Baldur.exe now works intermittently for me. I am able to run the file but I have to cycle between using Windows Vista mode and Windows Vista (SP1) mode. The program doesn't start up twice in a row otherwise.

    YES! This, Thank you. Blo-ody-Hell. If I hadn't fixed this by tonight, I would have been all about the refund.
