Nahal's Reckless Dweomer does nothing

The spell doesn't seem to have ANY effect when cast.

    First of all you have to select a spell from the list on the bottom of the screen when you initially cast the dweomer. Secondly, every time you cast Reckless Dweomer you get a wild surge. So it is entirely possible that at a low level you've been getting wild surges that have negated your spell casting. Could you be more specific on what happened in your case? because I just tried it and had no problems.

    Ah, I'm never prompted for a known spell in the list. The spell effects begin, Neela does nothing but stand there, not making a casting animation. No Wild Surge, nothing, just the a red spell effect hovering in the air for a little before disappearing.

    All I know is...I picked a spell and everyone caught on fire. It was glorious.
