[STORY *spoiler*] A BG:EE blog - 'Hacking & Slaying in Baldur's Gate'

I discussed whether anyone had written a blog about the exploits of their PC first time round:

I am going to attempt to write one for my character Catriona Drabinova as I travel through Baldur's Gate! Hopefully it will not become too much of a challenge...

I lost the interest after I saw the uber stats and the 7 intelligence, and I find it quite amusing that the story is written in some sort of diary by the same character. If you were roleplaying a narrator telling her story, it would make more sense to me. At least I liked her armor style, because it's a bit more realistic than most female armors I've seen lately (which offer very little protection and focus on expose their cleavage).

Fair enough, I know this style of blog won't appeal to all. I always view the stats issue that my PC is special in some way and that this story focuses on me, so I don't view having mega stats as being unusual

(we find out she is related to a God, after all, that might explain the stats)

It is Catriona's story, hence my style, but I am sure someone somewhere will tell their character's story in the style you prefer. Different strokes and all that...

As for the armour, not my doing, the developers obviously went for realism rather than male fantasy!

I'm enjoying it.

I always view uber-stats being portrayed in the same manner as the half-human offspring of Zeus or somesuch (Perseus for example). People whose physical and mental prowess is elevated far above most mortals simply due to their semi-divine nature.
