UI Bug?

Is this a bug or an option? My UI disappeared, and comes back when I pause the game. Anyone know how to fix it?

    It's an option. There's specific keys you can press to remove some or all of the GUI. Press the key again, and it comes back.
    Can't remember which key's right now, but I think one of them is "H".. There's probably a list in the manual.

    Somewhere in the options you can bind the key's to your own liking.
