[Request] Quick weapon slots

Current behaviour:
You cannot use quick slots for dual-wielding characters.
Later patches than BG1-original adressed that you need at least 2 slots to switch between close and ranged combat no matter what class you play. But only much later infinity engines (I believe it was IWD2 ? ) adressed, that in BG you could have your fighter do a quick switch from a big longbow to a big halberd, but couldn't have your thief switch between his short bow and his 2 daggers without completely changing his equipment slots (inconvenient in mid-combat).
Requested behaviour:
Please make twin quick weapon slots for the 2 hands, and also allow an item to be assigned to several slots (like always using the same shield but 3 different weapons) and do not force to remove weapons from quick weapon slots before you can fill in other quick weapon slots as you wish (can't equip a sling while holding an off-hand melee weapon etc..) - if an invalid combination arises, just inactivate the off-hand slot for the time being (like in old EOB - having a halberd and a shield chosen? NP, shield bonus simply deactivated).
