Tranzig doesn't cast spells

He just attacked with his Quarterstaff for some reason, so I think his script might be broken.

I'd expect him to use spells, as he claimed he was a spellcaster.

    To me he did TRY cast spells, but usually i hit him faster and his spell is fizzled.
    I think he managed to cast only once in all my tests.

    Are you sure he didn't even start a spell?

    I'm 100% positive he didn't do anything other than wail at me with his Quarterstaff. :-)

    (Had the same problem with Dynaheir tbh., but that will go in a different bug report)

    Ok, just retested by loading an older save. He just attacks with his Quarterstaff, nothing else.
    Here is a save just before talking to him. Doesn't seem to matter which dialogue options you choose.

    Ps. How do I attach files to this forum? A dev mentioned that we should attach crashdumps to our posts if the game crashed, but I can't find any way to do that.

    I came across this as well. Tranzig didn't even try to cast a spell at me. Instead he tried to whack Kagain, whom was decked out with full plate and a large shield, across the melon with his quarterstaff a few times..

    I experienced the same thing. It made it very easy for me to charm him with Safana's special and proceed to pickpocket all his goods. Unfortunately it seems your map will not update upon receiving the letter, but only when Tranzig dies.

    Before people report it... Quite many other mages who were intended to cast defensive spells only have gone totally passive. This was already marked fixed in the next release. (Those that use the mage3 script).

    Ok, I'm guessing Dynaheir use that script too?

    You can swap her script to anything once she is in your party.

    same, while cherry ripe is nice, she does not have the same effect on me.

    Well, she doesn't have spells in the gnoll prison, so that's fine.
