Alt-Tab doesn't minimise the game in Fullscreen Mode

Can this be fixed please. In the original game, when you Alt-Tab out of the game, it minimised the game to the Windows Taskbar. Pretty much all the 500+ games I have do this.

- However with BGEE, when you Alt-Tab, it doesn't minimise the game.
- If you have another app open (eg WIndows Explorer, Excel, etc) and Alt-Tab to it, You can't access it because the app is still 'behind' the game.

All it does is give access to the Windows Taskbar. When you hit Start and open an app, the app is 'behind' the game.

Please fix this.

    I have not ordered the game yet, but can anyone else confirm this bug? I was considering ordering the bug today. So thought i would look at the forums to see status of other players. Its a shame if this is true because i am a chronic multi tasker!

    I'm a multi-tasker too. It's mainly so I can do other stuff, like jump on the internet and look at things like walkthroughs, check email, etc. But you can't because your browser, email, whatever is always behind the game.

    I don't want to play in windowed mode either. I like playing full screen and it's annoying that I can't Alt-tab to something else and:

    1) the game won't minimise to the Windows Taskbar, or
    2) actually see the app in front of the game.

    Use Alt-Entr to pop it into windows mode for a short term fix.

    Alt+Tab will not work on one of my PCs which has dual screen but will work on my other PC with a single screen. Not that is matters as the game unplayable for me anyway.

    @ AaronGR I'm having the same issue, the game will not Alt-Tab. However, I did find a workaround- The Windows Key will bring me to the desktop & I've been able to use that exactly like Alt-Tab. YMMV, however.

    Seems to only be you can't minimise to tray if you have dual monitor.

    in my case minimising works OK, even when I order my party to move to a distant place and then minimise BGEE I can do other stuff on my laptom while party is going to their destination

    Okay, now I know why I can't Alt-Tab out. I'm using dual monitors. :(
