    I'm guessing it's going to be a higher level ability that we might see in BG2EE

    Either that or it can be patched in later. Overhaul have said they were looking to add in things post-release, even to the point of rolling some of the things they implement in BG2:EE back into BG:EE (where appropriate, I imagine).
