Multiplayer Issues - Traveling and Resting

Played quite a bit of multiplayer over the weekend.. about 14 hours with at least another hour spent reconnecting.

Three of us playing: I was hosting and my son was connecting from our home LAN along with a friend coming in through the Internet.

99% of the time if we do any of the following it hangs while my friend from the Internet is connected:
• Resting (at an Inn or outside)
• Travel to a different map
• Cutscene comes up

If he disconnects it free’s up and the transition or rest continues. If he disconnects prior to doing these they work fine. The issue also occurs with my son connected (who is inside the LAN) but not quite as often. However, resting seems to hang up most of the time when my son is connected.

So, in order to play we have begun doing the following. Everyone leaves prior to a zone change or rest, once that is done, I save and they re-join. This can be a real pain as this can occur frequently at times plus if I get waylaid or if there is an encounter while traveling the other two miss out on that as they can’t be set to control their characters while the party is in combat.

EDIT:
Just read some of the threads for resting that specify to copy the rest.wbm and rename to restinn.wbm & restdung.wbm. Will try this.

    I'm also getting issues with travelling to different parts of the map. It only crashes some of the time, and between certain areas.
