Unidentified objects in BGEE

Hi, are you supposed to be able to use unidentified items. Seeing I've played the game before, I recognize most items and therefore really don't need to identify them. In short, wouldn't it be better if you couldn't use unidentified items? /J

    Then there would be no point in cursed ones ;)

    you could use unidentified items in BG1 and 2 and I don't see any reason for that to change... the only thing that might get you to reconsider using all those unidentified items are the cursed counterparts... belt of feminity/masculinity, cursed potions and scrolls. so... it's use at your own risk

    When an item is not identified, you cannot use its special power.

    ex: charming for the nymph cloak, transformation in wolf, ...
