BG2 Multiplayer?

Having tried to play BGEE multiplyer with my friends (to no avail!) i was just wondering if the same problems appear in BG2 MP? More specifically, has anyone tried BG2 mp with more than 2 players and got it to work?

    I have, about a year ago. I did a play through with 3 others. It does work, we did it over tcp, but it will probably work better over a third party program.

    Hey, baldurs gate 2 multiplayer used to be a decent thing on the "Gamespy" system, remember playing with loads of different people. Was fun as hell until everyone started using annoying hax and crap like that.

    I played with 3 over TCP years ago with vanilla BG. BG2 worked fine with 6. The issue is really with the Enhanced Edition. But then at least the EE makes connecting with others much less of a hassle. I think we'll get decent multiplayer in time.
