So I finally got my PC to play the game (I was literally thrilled). Interestingly, the compatibility option that finally allowed me to play was Windows 98/Me, the very last one I tried. Also, perhaps I am blind, but I remember being able to go into a little configuration file that allowed me to change frame rate, window size, and add the cheat console, but I don't see anything like that in the new version. Tips? Also, go for the eyes.
