    I beat the game, it left a final save save slot, and now I dont know how to start bg2

    Äääähh, you have to wait until 2013, when Beamdog will release BG 2 EE :)
    This enhanced Edition doesn't include the second part.

    I bet you could export your character from the save game and import it into regular 2. It might not take if you have any of the new items they put in, but then again I haven't beaten the game yet to try that.

    BG2EE is not part of BGEE. Moved to not-an-issue.
